Starbons is proud & excited to have been selected from a field of 52 applicants to be part of the cohort of 17 early & late-stage innovator companies participating in the prestigious Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) SME Accelerator programme.
The programme runs from November 2020 through to March 2021. Starbons will benefit from a valuable package of training & support to accelerate their pathway towards commercialisation and making a contribution to a greener future for our planet.
A key objective of the programme is to accelerate innovative chemistry & Industrial Biotechnology solutions for a NetZero World, enabling the UK to build more resilient chemical supply chains.
The programme is being supported by industrial partners BASF, Croda, Lubrizol and Unilever. Other partners include IBioIC, the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI), the Department for International Trade (DIT), and Innovate UK. In addition, several companies in the investor community will participate; these include the UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund, Sustainable Ventures, Earlymarket and the Clean Growth Fund.
