- Starbon® materials are particularly effective in water treatment applications.
- The larger pore size, tuneable surface chemistry and hydrophilic to hydrophobic nature of Starbon® materials means that access to the active surface area is possible for a wide range of chemicals in terms of both polarity and size. This can include large organics such as dyes, through to metals and complexes.
- The range of functional groups on the Starbon® surface allows for either physisorption and/or chemisorption of these compounds.
